Aftermarket Aerowing style rear spoiler to give your 1985-90 Trans Am/GTA a stylish appearance. Manufactured in durable fiberglass. Each spoiler includes mounting hardware. If mounting on a car that did not come equipped with an aerowing spoiler, drilling of the rear decklid will be required to obtain proper fit. Comes in gelcoat and primer finish that must be blocked out, primed and final sanded prior to painting.
IMPORTANT: This spoiler is NOT designed to accept a factory third brake light. Spoiler will require modifications if you want to install a factory style third brake light beneath the spoiler.
ATTENTION: DO NOT paint this spoiler PRIOR to fitting it to the vehicle for the first time. Professional installers ALWAYS test-fit a spoiler to the vehicle first, conduct any and all necessary modifications, drilling of holes, etc. and then remove the spoiler from the vehicle to paint it as a final step. Once the fit and appearance of the spoiler on the vehicle has been tested and confirmed, then you can begin prepping, and priming the spoiler. FINALLY after all mods, and test-fitment has been completed, then you can proceed to the painting of the spoiler. Painting of body parts should always be the next-to-last step of the installation process.
