When doing a resto-mod there is no longer a need to widen the inner and outer wheelhouse panels to form a full rear mini-tub. You can now purchase our complete rear wheelhouse mini-tub panels to make the job easier. These quality, stamped steel EDP coated panels are made to accommodate larger width tires, and are designed to replace the entire wheel house assembly, including both the inner and outer wheelhouse panels. Each mini-tub is designed to work on both coupe and convertible bodies.
OEM tubs measure 3-3/4" inside width at the front where the inner wheelhouse meets the seam to the outer wheelhouse. These mini-tubs measure 6" where the inner wheelhouse meets the seam to the outer wheelhouse, adding the additional width you need to run beefier rear tire s without the need to flare the rear quarter panels. Total width at center of tub is 15.25 inches instead of 12.5 inches.
Important: Modification to trunk floor will be required to obtain proper fit. Stock fuel tank will work.
